Love Our Lake Day at Lake Merritt, Oakland, CA

Love Our Lake Day will be held at Oakland’s Downtown Lake Merritt, September 14 where locals and visitors can walk, bike, stroll and dance around the lake as we celebrate Oakland and all it has to offer. Below is map of the route that is to be taken but don’t be surprised if there are some twists, turns and offshoots from the map below.
There will be a ceremony with Mayor Quan and community advocates at 2 pm at the Lake Merritt Amphitheatre. This is a free event, family and dog-friendly. There will be music all day at the Lake Merritt Blvd. Amphitheatre and the Oakland Music Festival stage located at Latham Square. Plus over 40 activities, tons of food trucks and a time to remember.
