Foothill Blvd between High Street and 47th Avenue is considered the heart of East Oakland and today, Oakland’s Mayor, Libby Schaaf has named this stretch of Foothill Blvd. “Too $hort Way,” in honor of the Bay Area rapper Too $hort.
