Oceanside, CA—Bishop Snow is here to soundtrack your next sun-soaked joyride. The rising West Coast rapper has officially released “The Weekend,” (watch it now) a new single that serves as a modern nod to the classic Debbie Deb track, “Lookout Weekend.” With its smooth vibes and signature style, the song is a perfect tribute to Southern California hip-hop culture.
The track, “The Weekend,” produced by AC3Beats, provides the perfect backdrop for Bishop Snow’s laid-back delivery, creating an anthem that is as fitting for a lowrider cruise as it is for a house party. The accompanying music video, directed by Daniel Ximenez and SexyManteca with additional footage from LifeOfJuancho, is a visual feast for West Coast purists. It features Snow getting down with a Crip walk and showcasing lowriders, embodying the authentic spirit of the region.
Snow’s musical journey is as rich as the sound he creates. Raised in Oceanside and surrounded by music from an early age, he was influenced by his mother, Deborah Snow, a touring singer who shared a stage with legends like Michael Jackson, Prince, Lauryn Hill, and A Tribe Called Quest. This diverse foundation, combined with an early education in West Coast hip-hop from artists like Too Short, OutKast, and Nas, helped him cultivate a unique style that blends old-school authenticity with modern flair.

After launching his career in 2021, Snow honed his craft and business acumen. Following his 2022 debut, “Lord, Forgive Me,” he teamed up with Andrés and Daniel Ximenez of the Oceanside-based clothing brand MadStrange. They became his management and taught him the essentials of self-promotion, leading to the release of four albums to date. His sound was further refined through a key collaboration with Los Angeles hip-hop producer, De’La, who helped him perfect his West Coast aesthetic.
While Snow is driven to succeed for his own artistic attainment, his ambition is also deeply rooted in his family and community. He credits his rise to the unwavering support of the Oceanside scene and is working hard for his son, Giovanni, and to bring his mother back home to the city. With a string of recent projects, including the 2024 album Mission Ave II and the 2025 releases “Too Legit” and the “Addicted To The Game” EP—which features “The Weekend“—Bishop Snow is on a fast track to becoming a West Coast classic in his own right.
