Hip-Hop emcee A-F-R-O teams up with his friends, all 35+ Emcees to drop his newest historical project “Got Next” which is apparently filmed and produced by non-other than… himself. This video assembles each Emcee to do battle, lyrically in the theme of the classic movie “The Warriors” but to do battle with who? It seems to drop an easter egg at the end of the video, which had me thinking there might be a part two… who knows. There have been a few moments in music history when Emcees join forces, as he recently did in his collaboration with 60 East on “Journeymen” but not this or on this scale. A-F-R-O might have out done himself on this, and he is proving to be a creative visual visionary behind the camera. Watch “Got Next” by A-F-R-O below.
