International Hip Hop artist DLabrie shows the dark side of RDV Records on Halloween with “Vampire NETW3RK” featuring an array of talent including Kung Fu Vampire, Traxamillion (who passed away in 2022 from a battle with cancer), YDMC (RDV Records), Sean Blak, Muenster, Boogie Madeoff and Playz while produced by SixFiveNada. This lineup of San Jose talent has never appeared on a song together; only DLabrie and his label RDV could put this group of legends together on one track.
Hailing from East Oakland, CA, the roughest side of town, DLabrie became an international Hip Hop talent due to his popularity in Asia after touring The East Bay Area where he performed, sharing his art while building with people. DLabrie is currently prominent in South Korea and Japan, which is how he has had the ability to do what many underground artists haven’t, see the world while learning about other cultures. Because of his efforts in NETW3RKING, DLabrie has had his music videos and music play on the BET and MTV networks and artist profile interviews on CNN and NBC.
The day after he arrived in South Korea on Halloween 2022, he had a close-up view of the recent tragedy in the Itaewon district of Korea where more than 150 people were killed by a crowd crush and nearly the same amount was injured. According to DLabrie, this is the Hip Hop mecca of South Korea. The victims were mainly young adults and among the dead were 26 foreigners from 14 different countries. Luckily, DLabrie was not a part of this crowd but he was located just blocks away when this heartbreak happened and it affected many people he associates with in the area.
“I often start my Asia touring on Halloween every year, so I was touring in Korea [during the time] when the song was released,” explains DLabrie who continues, “It would have been insensitive [to promote the song during] the Korea tragedy out of respect for the dead.”
DLabrie’s lyrical video for “Vampire NETW3RK” dropped on Halloween 2022 as a part of a sequel to the trilogy and series “Mr. NETW3RK” for those who are a part of the underworld AKA Underground. According to DLabrie, there were several days of mourning in Seoul. A week after that, DLabrie headed to Japan for more touring and for the first time since Covid19 restrictions were lifted.

That is where you can find us,” says DLabrie about himself and his NETW3RK.
The Vampire NETW3RK is based on “Horror Tales from Silicon Valley” where DLabrie started RonDavoux Records (RDV) during the internet boom in the early 2000s. This series is a tribute to the biggest San Jose Hip Hop artists and associates he met in his early career while he and his team were working long nights and on the grind – during the scary hours.
