
Carl Angelo Viray, born in Macabebe, Pampanga in The Philippines and known as Carl Angelo is a Hip Hop artist who has been on the scene from Los Angeles to Seattle, WA for at least three years and has dropped song gems that are young and fresh.
“Like Me” music video starts off with a quote, “If they don’t like you, it’s ‘cause they don’t like them either, so if you hate me, just remember what that means–for real.” A statement for other Filipinos who go through hate from others who aren’t Filipino.
The song, “Like Me” is a solid Hip Hop music video directed by 2SixDoes and produced by Angelo that features female emcee Klassy (BeatRock Music) and five other dancers who stay still for about half of the video as Angelo explains what it means if “they don’t like you.”

In addition to his music, new fans should check out “SILAB: The Movie,” a musical autobiography conceptualized and produced by Angelo himself as well as Mayhem and Conquer & Syko, is a story about his own journey in Hip Hop as a Filipino-American. The film’s cinematography, put together by 2SixDoes, showcases Angelo’s bar-strength set to a theatrical tone; pressing his many styles of rap: from spoken word to Hip Hop freestyles. The film features an array of musical talent, including David Ira, Butterfly Gold, Meta4us, Ehnara and Nisa Longga produced by Marvs and Angelo.
