Thanks those of you who came out to 1500 K St., at Capitol Garage, April 14 for The Alive And Well Tour, we had return emcees DuskOne, PigPen, Pat Maine, Yze and DumbLuck ;who performed at the Sacramento Hip-Hop Congress Open-Mic November ’09 with great success, return to bless us with a fun show. The Alive And Well Tour came packed with merch and so did Sacramento local merchants, SledgeHammer Graffix [www.SHGraffix.wordpress.com and Twitter @SHGraffix] and Shine Clothing [Twitter @Shine_clothing].
Opening acts were local rising emcees, Mad Flows, who also is one part of three in the group SkyNet and Max Bundles who runs his own world-wide radio show, “The Late Night Beat with Max B” on http://www.vmr215.com.
At mid night, the clock struck and it was April 15; my birthday and everyone sung happy birthday to me as I was reluctantly pulled on stage. The show wasn’t packed, due to the decline of hip-hop attendees and mass hip-hop events that have risen the last six months but it was definitely a success in my book.
