CHICAGO, IL – When rapidly ascending Hip Hop collective DA-MOVEMENT officially secured the 2026 InterContinental Music Award for North American Rap in Chicago this August, they cemented their global presence with their high-velocity single “All Black Everything (Remix).
Spearheaded by Pompey “Pay” Hicks III alongside core member Daries “Qraft” Jackson, DA-MOVEMENT has been on an aggressive upward trajectory. According to UBO Entertainment, this major ICMA victory arrives on the heels of another massive international breakout: their separate hit single “24’s” (featuring the legendary Johnny P and Never of Crucial Conflict), which climbed to #3 on the Euro Indie Music Chart (EIMC Top 10) and landed at #139 on the United States MediaBase Activator Chart.
In addition to its dominant broadcast chart placements, “24’s” has rapidly infiltrated global nightlife. According to recent Digital DJ Pool analytics, the single achieved a perfect 10 out of 10 score from venue-based DJs, pulling in over 17,300 listener impressions across 322 clubs worldwide and reaching a combined room capacity of more than 193,000 people. Hitting 2,342 professional DJs across major markets including the US, Canada, the UK, Germany and Spain, the track sits comfortably in the top 5 percent of all Hip Hop and R&B songs worldwide– meaning it is playing heavily in clubs, at events and on FM radio stations everywhere.
The winning track “All Black Everything (Remix)” features a powerhouse lineup of Chicago architects including AK of Do or Die, Never of Crucial Conflict and R&B vocalist J. Harris. The record exemplifies DA-MOVEMENT’s central mission: delivering authentic, top-tier Midwest Hip Hop production while honoring the deep Midwestern cultural legacy of the city. These massive milestones are the direct result of their ongoing Audio Resurrection Campaign – a meticulous engineering initiative designed to bring classic Chicago sounds to the absolute bleeding edge of modern audio fidelity.
“To win an international award of this magnitude and bring that hardware home to Chicago means everything,” stated Executive Producer Pompey “Pay” Hicks III, founder of DA-MOVEMENT. “We took the authentic Westside sound global with ‘All Black Everything.’ This win isn’t just for us; it’s for our family, our team and every single person supporting independent Hip Hop.”
To capitalize on this historic momentum, DA-MOVEMENT has announced that the award-winning single is receiving a massive technical upgrade. The group’s pristine sonic delivery is anchored by renowned engineer Rae Nimeh (United Technique Recordings), who handles the meticulous vocal recording and mixing credits. Engineered by eight-time nominated and two-time Grammy-winning mastering engineer Mike Tucci, a new immersive Dolby Atmos spatial audio master of the track will be available on Apple Music in the coming weeks—offering fans an unprecedented multi-dimensional listening experience. Listeners are invited to stream the tracks and follow the collective as they continue to make waves worldwide.
