Come celebrate the life of our friend, Kirk Parker at Shiny Nickel Art Gallery located at 1518 21st St. This is potluck style and I am sure that Kris Gupton, SNAG owner willhave the Que crackalacking too [as he would put it\. This BBQ/Potluck is set up as an open-mic, so bring your poetry, music, guitar, bongos and memories of Kirk Parker!! See you there!

Play That Funky Salsa
Come out to Beatnik Photography Studios to celebrate my birthday as well as funk & salsa! This unique event is set up as a salsa contest, so if you feel that you have the best salsa in Sacramento to boast, bring it on down for $20 to be judged by local chefs! After the judging, Ana and her crew from AMPED Entertainment will hit the dance floor with some salsa moves to get your groove-thang moving. DJ Kool Kuts will be mixing it up all night with old skool funk, r&b, hip-hop and, of course salsa! Come and join in the fun! We will have turtle beer and sangria all nite! Screen Printing with Shifu Willis
If the t-shirt biz has you thinking of starting your own line but you don’t know a thing about printing, come set your feet in Beatnik Studios to learn the way of the print hand. A.C. AKA Shifu Willis has been printing for over ten years strong and is here to get you started with a entry course and a four-part series. He currently prints shirts for businesses, bands and non-profit associations as SledgeHammer Grafix. Each class cost $20 and the entire series is $80 as a package. Most supplies are included and all printing supplies are covered in the cost. Come on down and get your print on! Classes start Sunday, April 17, 3-5 pm [entry course] and resume May 15 [beginning of four-part series]; thereafter they will be every Sunday. Earn your stripes in Screen Printing!
