Exclusive: Sacramento’s Queen “Marvaless” Talks New Albums, & More!

Sacramento’s Queen, also known to the world as Marvaless aka Marva Jean. The Central Valley femcee first pierced the West Coast rap scene in 1993, a year after finishing high school, and connecting with the Gangsta Rap Mobfather C-Bo to record her debut album, Ghetto Blues, through AWOL Records.

She went on to release several more successive solo releases and make a series of guest appearances on records by acts including 2Pac, Conscious Daughters, Mac Mall, Master P, Mac Dre, and AWOL label mates Lunasicc and C-Bo. She also performed with artists including Ice Cube, Biggie Smalls, Do or Die, and Redman.

We caught up with Marva Jean while taking a brief break from her tour stop in Oklahoma. The 91-Siccness own spoke on the wrap up of her brand new up coming release, self titled “Marveless.” When asked about her new body of work. She would go on to say “She Just Trying To Get Back In The Niche Of Things.” Dropping her brand new single “DOPE,” exclusively here on the Siccness Network, featuring C-Bo and Bay Area freestyle King Mistah FAB. She tells us that the fans are indeed in for a musical treat.
