Sacramento, R&B prince Aaron Le went viral on TikTok with his track, “Sactown,” released this year in 2025 after getting sober and returning to church, which he said helped manifest and elevate his music to a new level and different mindset.
Aaron Le, a first-generation, Vietnamese-American, has parents who were born in Vietnam. Both of his grandfathers fought in the Vietnam war on the U.S. side and were taken as prisoners during the war. Because of their sacrifices, his grandfathers were released from Vietnamese captivity and granted U.S. citizenship, bringing their families with them and settling in The Bay Area. Later on, Le’s parents met in San Jose where they started a family, having three sons before moving to Elk Grove, when he was just three-years-old. Ten years later, they added a sister to the family.
Le, who described himself to Trevor, the host of the Vibe With Humanity’s podcast, as the black sheep of the family, explained that growing up in a family that was Vietnamese by culture while also being American and attending school in the U.S. felt like navigating two different cultures. He told Trevor that when he was younger, he was embarrassed to speak Vietnamese to his parents in public or around his friends but he has since grown to love his culture and enjoys speaking Vietnamese to other Vietnamese people, especially when there is a language barrier. In a sense, becoming an asset for Vietnamese-speaking Americans.
Influenced by his older brother’s breakdancing skills, Le began b-boying himself in fourth grade. By the time he was 13, he started to explore singing. After receiving many family and friend compliments from friends and family on his voice, Le began to take his singing seriously and decided to pursue it as a career while currently attending Los Rios Community College District, with goals to then finish his education in Business at California State University of Sacramento.
Going viral on Tik Tok gave Le the push he really needed to grow his audience with the track, “Sactown,” produced by MegaTron (Dallas, TX), mixed and mastered by Louie Valentino (who works with Netflix as an actor and director on 13 Reasons Why and The OA), Season 2 and written by yours truly, Aaron Lee. The song starts off like someone rising from their sleepy subconsciousness into reality as he finesses the lady he is singing about, someone who has to “meet him up in Sactown.”

This lovey-dovey song went big for the females on Tik Tok which has propelled Le’s success with the jump off he needs for success. He has already had the chance to get on Good Day Sacramento, Vibe With Humanity, Unquestionable The Podcast among others.

Growing up attending church and Sunday school was a part of Le’s childhood but as he got older, he decided to stop going, similar to many other newly minted young adults. Now, he has returned to Christianity and attends a Vietnamese church in Sacramento. He said returning to church helped him to get sober, kicking 2025 off right. Outside of making music, attending college and working, Aaron Le enjoys working out and kicking it with his friends.
