Baegod & Sbvce Drop New Single “The Data”
Sacramento duo Baegod & Sbvce are back with “The Data”, from their upcoming project Couples Therapy. The visual drops us smack into current events, with a dope flip takin us back in time cross blending it with current tech. I personally end my shift catching up on current events flippin thru the PBS Newshour, and BaeGod & SBVCE razor-sharp bars are on point with social and political views, privacy, and who really holds the power in a data-driven world.
Bringing piggy & kermit to life in this music video is awesome eye draw, done in their true creative Bedroom Trap styles. Cleverly harkening back to their newest album Couples Therapy, we see homeless, ICE raids, protests, and even political scandals swept under the rug, stamped in with a quippy hook ‘The Data Don’t Matter‘. It’s Sesame Street gone dystopian, complete social downfall a bittersweet nod to the PBS generation.
“The Data” is creative and dope visual thats also uncomfortably real all at once—proof that Baegod & Sbvce know how to make creative music and content that entertains but provokes thought. If this is the tone-setter for Couples Therapy, expect one of their most ambitious projects yet.
